We are concerned that children today are not getting enough exercise in school. Since our “Easy TaiChi-Qigong” program has movements that anyone can do, we encourage teachers and parents to show young people how to do some of these moves. See a sample in the 8-minute video at the bottom of the Exercise page. The movements come from the first DVD listed below.
This DVD is recommended as a Resource on the National Parkinson Foundation website. The AMA acknowledges that easy Tai Chi is one of the best daily exercises because it produces maximum benefits with the least amount of stress on the body. The instructions are so easy that individuals or groups at adult communities can follow this DVD without a Teacher. Young people gain more focus, peace, and balanced health.
This DVD is a Spanish version of the above video. It has four sections: (1) Qigong Warm-ups with Instructions, (2) Sitting Exercises with Instructions, (3) Easy Tai Chi movements with Instructions, and (4) the Easy Tai Chi with music and no instructions. This DVD has been sent to people around the world.
This is a practice DVD for those who have had T’ai Chi Chih classes. There are no instructions – but instead the gentle, meditative movements are done to music with a desert sunrise in the background. Justin Stone, the originator of T’ai Chi Chih, approved this DVD in 1995. Many have found that the movements are easy enough to do even if one has not taken a class.
This DVD is designed to help increase bone density and muscle strength. Studies have shown that using light weights strengthens bones and muscles as well as the mind. The evening news recently shared a study showing that resistance exercise with weights helped improve Alzheimer’s and other mental challenges for seniors. The DVD is designed for an individual or groups to watch and follow – and it’s easy to do.
This DVD is designed for beginners and seniors who like a challenge. First one learns how to open and close a fan, and then the form is broken down into simple segments that are easy to learn. The viewer will see the movements two times from the back and two times from the front. Fan Tai Chi is a multi-task routine that helps stimulate body-mind coordination. It’s a great routine to demonstrate at a Convention.
This DVD shares a form that combines Qigong and T’ai Chi Ch’uan to help strengthen the body and release stress. For those who have mastered our “Easy TaiChi-Qigong” DVD, this is a natural next step. It has instructions and is at an Intermediate Level. The Teachers we’ve trained tell us that their students enjoy this more than traditional forms because Tai Chi Kung is easier to learn.
Crane Dancing Qigong is a combination of ancient Qigong movements with the gentle flow of dance. It was designed to help calm the mind – while keeping the body, mind, and spirit fluid and flexible. Many who practice Crane Dancing comment on how they feel a sense of inner peace and well-being while doing it. As well, Teachers enjoy sharing these new movements with their class.
Many enjoy the healing and restful quality of this CD. The guided meditations “Loving Presence” and “Ocean of Light” incorporate nature sounds, gentle words, and music designed to help heal the body, mind and spirit. You’ll learn the “Light Switch” and other relaxing techniques. Some people play this as a wind-down at the end of a class, while others share the CD as a gift to people recovering from surgery, illness, stress, or a loss. This is for listening – it is not a movie.
